Based on the huge success of last years Summer Cycle Camp, NCA are pleased to announce the launch of our new Spring Camp which will be based at Philips Park in Whitefield, Greater Manchester

The Spring Camp will run from the 2nd to the 13th April 10am to 3pm and will include lots of new and exciting cycling adventures for the children to try.

Our Instructors have tailored our Spring Camp to your requirements, we’ve listened to comments made by parents and children about what worked best and have also added some new ideas for cycling activities aimed at enhancing everyone’s enjoyment of the sessions.

Along with a trip to Bury Cyclespeedway track, activities will include Bikeability training, mountain biking skills, tips on how to maintain your bike, BMX skills, a chance to meet a Cycling Champion, Easter egg hunt on bikes, bike rides through Prestwich Clough, Philips Park, Clifton Marina and along cycle route 6. Cycling games and fun aimed at improving confidence, fitness and encouraging future participation in cycling

Each child attending for a full week will receive a free cycling goodie bag and a certificate of cycling competence

NCA Members Club
Children can also join the NCA junior members club, receiving a newsletter, stickers, offers such discounted tickets to the Manchester Velodrome and other venues or cycling events. There’s also information about how to take their cycling a stage further by joining in at a more competitive level. Once a member, parents and children have access to cycling equipment, accessories and NCA team kit at a special discounted rate through our retail section

What do I need to bring?

• 1 A suitable bike with two fully operational brakes (rider’s own bikes can be left, secured at the site for the week)*
• 2 Cycle helmet*
• 3 Waterproofs and a change of clothes
• 4 A packed lunch and drinks
